However, Forest were beaten 3-0 by West Ham in their latest Premier League fixture, raising more questions about Nuno’s immediate future.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “I think with him it’s going to depend on what happens on the pitch.
“I think if it starts to go wrong on the pitch, that’s when you’re going to see all the cracks laid bare because either what will happen is the manager will get the blame for it, or somehow they’ll try and pin it on the director of football and say that he signed the wrong players.
And those guys, you can tell that they’re also pretty forceful characters, so I don’t think it’s a big shock.
