Keith Wyness told Football Insider he is “concerned” for the Hammers following the move as the Cheshire-based company was previously a lender to Everton, where he was formerly CEO.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “There isn’t really any concern.
“They’re a secured football lender, who are making their money by taking a commercial margin from a credit perspective.
I mean, they were a secured lender to Everton, took a bit of risk and got paid for it, and they had risk in that situation.
“These guys are just a private wealth lender and are being paid for the potential risk of lending to a football club.”
