Everton are well placed to agree a cut-price deal with Manchester City to sign Jack Grealish permanently next summer.
Everton have signed Grealish on a season-long loan deal from Man City despite interest from several rival clubs.
The deal includes the option for David Moyes’s side to buy the 29-year-old, who is believed to be on around £300,000 a week, for £50million next summer.
Grealish made his Everton debut off the bench in the 1-0 defeat against Leeds United on Monday (18 August) at Elland Road.
Lukas Nmecha’s late penalty secured all three points for Daniel Farke’s side following an alleged handball by Everton defender James Tarkowski.

The England international, who joined Pep Guardiola’s side for £100million from Aston Villa in 2021, registered 17 goals and 23 assists in 157 appearances at the Etihad Stadium.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “I think you can ignore the option to buy.
“I think the reality is if he does well, Everton will be able to sign him next summer.
“It’s very hard to see given what he’s paid, and he’s got another year after this year left on his very big contract, so it’s very hard to see that City would be able to demand much of a fee even if he’s successful at Everton.
“If he does end up there, it won’t be for anywhere near £50million.”
