Lilly Gerrard, daughter of Liverpool FC icon Steven Gerrard, has joyfully announced the birth of her baby.



Lilly first broke the news of her impending motherhood in January.

Lilly and her boyfriend Lee Byrne, who have been an item for more than two years, went public with their romance in 2022 through a series of snaps from their sun-soaked getaway to Ibiza.

The couple has been eagerly gearing up for their new arrival, stocking up on all the essentials well in advance.

In a recent Instagram story, Lilly showcased a shopping trolley brimming with baby essentials, captioning it "nesting mode".

Following their pregnancy reveal, the pair were gifted with "mama" and "papa" mugs and even started a pregnancy journal to document every milestone.

Since the announcement in January, Lilly, originally from Formby, has been showered with love and support.

Among the first to congratulate her on social media was her father, Steven Gerrard, when she posted about the baby.

Adding to the family's joy, Lexie Gerrard, 18, echoed her anticipation, stating: "Can't wait to be a auntie."

Since their dream wedding at the opulent Cliveden House in Berkshire in 2007, Steven and Alex have cherished their blissful union.

The Gerrards beam with pride when it comes to their brood—Lily, aged 21; Lexie, 18; Lourdes, 13; and young Lio, 7.

Lily, their eldest, has had an especially thrilling year, marking her transition into adulthood with her 21st birthday celebrations in February.
