Steven Gerrard has reiterated his belief that Luis Suarez was a better player than Fernando Torres, despite saying he had a better on-field understanding with the latter.
Gerrard played alongside both players for three and a half seasons: Torres joined Liverpool in the summer of 2007 before his big-money switch to Chelsea in January 2011, and he was replaced in the same month by Suarez, who remained with the Reds up until he joined Barcelona in the summer of 2014.
