Rangers' expected new ownership group 49ers Enterprises are reportedly wanting to employ Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as the club's new manager once they take charge.
The Glasgow club are currently under the temporary charge of Barry Ferguson after Philippe Clement was sacked in February.
While Ferguson has done a good job as caretaker, notably leading the club to the quarter-finals of the Europa League where they just fell short to Athletic Bilbao, it is expected that 49ers Enterprises will be wanting to bring back Gerrard.
Scottish Express reports that Rangers will soon have the Red Bull logo on their shirts like Leeds United, who are also owned by the NFL giants' investment arm, due to the energy drink group being a key investor for them.

The report adds that Gerrard return would be the 'most likely scenario' at Ibrox after he enjoyed a good spell at the club in his first stint in charge.

"I will go in at some point but, when it's round the clocks, I've been doing it 18, 19 months, I want to be free, I want to play a round of golf, go down the boozer and have a couple of beers, do normal things that you can't do when you're coaching.
It's a great job to be around, but in terms of the buzz, I didn't appreciate it enough."
