Steven Gerrard's daughter Lexie Gerrard has shared a picture holding her sister's baby, her niece.

Earlier today, July 15, Lilly announced on Instagram that she had given birth to her child with partner Lee Byrne.

A photo shared to the Instagram account of Formby-born Lilly showed Lee holding a baby carrier, with the caption "@Leebyrne 2 becomes 3", alongside a pink heart and a baby emoji.



Lilly announced her pregnancy news back in January of this year.

Lilly's sister, Lexie Gerrard has shared the gender of the baby, posting a photo to her own Instagram Stories.

Lilly and Lexie both shared pictures of a table which had petals, candles, flowers and balloons surrounding it.

A pink teddy bear was also visible on the table.

Lilly and her partner Lee Byrne have been dating for over two years, the two confirmed their relationship in 2022 with a series of pictures from time together in Ibiza, Spain.

Gerrard was one of the first to comment on his daughter's post when she shared the baby news.

Great news and congratulations we love you." Gerrard regularly shares family updates on social media and has always been vocal about the love he has for his children.

Mum Alex, 42, took to the comments and said: "Can’t wait." Gerrard's second eldest daughter, Lexie, 18, said: "Can’t wait to be a auntie." Steven and Alex have been happily married since 2007 after they tied the knot in a luxurious ceremony at Cliveden House in Berkshire.
