Trent Alexander-Arnold said playing for Real Madrid was a "dream come true" on Thursday, saying he's "ready to win a lot of trophies" after signing a six-year contract at the club.
Madrid confirmed Alexander-Arnold's arrival last month, after reaching an agreement with Liverpool to release the defender, 26, from his contract early ahead of the Club World Cup.
The England international formally signed his contract -- set to run until June 30, 2031 -- on Thursday, and posed for photos with his new Madrid shirt, which will feature the name "Trent" and the No.
12.
He was then presented by president Florentino Perez at the club's Valdebebas training ground, before facing questions from the media in a news conference.
During his presentation, Alexander-Arnold impressed the audience by delivering a brief speech in Spanish.

"Thank you to Florentino Perez and Real Madrid for this opportunity," he said.
"Signing for a club like Real Madrid doesn't happen every day.
I'm excited to show my game to the Madrid fans.
"I'm aware of what it means to play for Real Madrid, it's a big responsibility, but I'm ready.
Thank you, and Hala Madrid."
Perez called Alexander-Arnold "a player who's won it all."
"We know what it means for you to play for Real Madrid," Perez said.
Each trophy pushes you to win the next one."
Alexander-Arnold left Liverpool after spending 20 years at Anfield, establishing himself as one of the world's most high-profile full-backs and winning nine trophies, including the 2019 Champions League and the 2020 and 2025 Premier League titles.
