Conor Coady has completely outdone Trent Alexander-Arnold in one training drill in England’s World Cup camp.

Indeed, as seen in a video posted to the Three Lions’ official YouTube channel, Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Marcus Rashford and Coady were taking part in a training drill that measured the speed of your jump.

Alexander-Arnold let out a Cristiano Ronaldo-esque celebration after getting the lowest score, but with his final effort, Coady scored 130, beating Alexander-Arnold’s score.

Coady is so often praised for his presence and attitude in training, and videos like this show exactly why he’s valued so highly as a member of Gareth Southgate’s core England group.

The idea was to get the lowest score possible, and Alexander-Arnold thought he’d come out on top after recording a score of 133 in the final round.

To us, Coady’s 130 score looked rather dubious.
