Well, these past few weeks have been horrible to deal with if you represent Liverpool because everything and anything has been going wrong.
Getting knocked out of Europe, losing further ground in the Premier League title race, attack and defence issues, and that Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp spat.
You just wonder what Liverpool’s rumoured incoming boss Arne Slot is making of this because it’s not what fans expected.
At one point, some thought the Reds were in with a chance of winning all four trophies and Klopp was going to leave on a high.
But these past few weeks have left a bitter taste in supporters’ mouths, with that Salah-Klopp incident at the London Stadium just making matters worse.
And in a flash, the feeling amongst the Liverpool fans is that they probably can’t wait for the season to end now.
Fabrizio Romano shared an update on Sunday that Liverpool and Feyenoord have prepared all documents for Slot to become their next manager.
You feel this would bring a feel-good factor to the club, but Owen Hargreaves thinks they are making a mistake by bringing him in, as he told Premier League Productions (29/04/24 at 2:40 pm).

“The problem is, you aren’t going to have, you see with ten Hag at Manchester United, you aren’t going to have that over here.
I find with young managers now, their philosophy is more important than what happens results-wise and that’s not right.”

One of the very first things Slot needs to deal with when he becomes Liverpool’s manager is the future of Salah.
Yes, he is going through a period right now where he isn’t firing and seems to be in a pretty grumpy mood.
But he is still one of Liverpool’s most important players.

From his 29 Premier League matches, he has 17 goals and nine assists.
No one else at Anfield is hitting those numbers, and let’s be honest, they won’t next season.
Darwin Nunez is too inconsistent, Diogo Jota can’t stay fit, Luis Diaz has dropped off, and Cody Gakpo hasn’t delivered since joining the club.
All in all, Slot needs to make sure he does everything to keep Salah on board because he is going to need him more than anybody else.
