With almost a fifth of the Premier League season complete for the majority of teams, the table is starting to take shape and first-choice line-ups are becoming clearer following the closure of the summer transfer window.

Arsenal Cedric, Matt Turner, Reiss Nelson, Matt Smith, Lino Sousa For the most part, there should not be much surprise with Arsenal’s list.

Matt Smith is more interesting as he has amassed 84 senior appearances on loan at Swindon Town, Charlton Athletic and Doncaster Rovers over the past two seasons.

Elsewhere, Matt Turner is very much Aaron Ramsdale’s deputy.

Injuries have held back Cedric and Reiss Nelson.

He is likely to be the cup goalkeeper, only used in the Premier League if absolutely necessary.

For most players, that means regular involvement, either as a starter, substitute or squad member.
