Alan Shearer has raved about Chelsea defensive midfielder on and has said that the reported Liverpool target is “an unbelievable player”. The Newcastle United legend made the comments about Chelsea and France international midfielder Kante, who has been linked with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, while discussing the best midfielders to have ever played in the Premier League.

According to Liverpool are interested in signing the 31-year-old on a free transfer in the summer of 2023. The reporter has said that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winers are hoping to persuade the defensive midfielder to make the switch to Anfield. Kante has had injury problems this season, but when fit, the Frenchman is one of the best defensive midfielders on the planet.



Kante has also won the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League once each with Chelsea.
