Liverpool get their league campaign underway tomorrow lunchtime with an away trip to Fulham.
Despite the ongoing transfer business, Keane says it will still be a two-horse race between Liverpool and City this season.
When asked who will lift the trophy next May, he added: "Man City."
"There will be improvement at Tottenham and Manchester United have to be better than last year, but the simple answer in terms of winning the league: Liverpool and City.
