Alexander Isak’s transfer saga continues with new revelations claiming that the truth has not been told about the series of events.
Isak put out a strong statement on his social media channels which Newcastle did not know were going to be released.
Isak did not take part in Newcastle’s pre-season tour and was not involved in their 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.

Football Insider Verdict
Isak voicing his opinion on matters did little to help the current situation at Newcastle, and Howe may be relieved when this transfer window is shut.
The striker clearly does not want to be at Newcastle and the longer he remains contracted as a Toon player, the saga will continue to drag on.
The noise and speculation is doing little to help Howe focus on sourcing a striker in the market, and Newcastle are struggling to get deals over the line.
Howe could do with selling Isak to boost his transfer funds, but only Liverpool look likely to stump up £150m for his signature.

Isak cannot be reintegrated into the squad now, and Howe simply must sign a striker before the transfer deadline or be left facing a troubling season.
Anthony Gordon was forced to play up-front against Aston Villa, and the only natural option at Howe’s disposal is 22 year-old William Osula who only has one Premier League goal.
