Indeed, Liverpool are about to spend a hefty chunk of change on the transfer of Florian Wirtz, but with the way things are headed, they should still have plenty of money in their war chest to improve their ranks.
Alexander Isak has once again been one of the most prolific strikers in the Premier League, with Liverpool the most likely to acquire Isak’s services.
However, seeing as though Newcastle managed to get themselves back into the Champions League, a transfer feels less likely, especially with the price tag they’ve slapped on his head.

“The biggest question mark will be over the number nine and if they can genuinely go for Alexander Isak,” he said.
“Will they drop the £100m that Frankfurt are asking for Hugo Ekitike, they could even enter the race for Benjamin Sesko, even though it feels like Arsenal are more advanced on that one at the moment.”
Sesko, Isak and Ekitike are all more than solid striker options that Liverpool could explore over the next few months.
Of course, they’d have to fend off Arsenal, but after Mikel Arteta’s men finished second in the Premier League last term, it feels unlikely that Sesko would need much convincing.
