Although fans are hurt by the defender’s decision, it seems that Andy Robertson wishes Alexander-Arnold nothing but the best after a post he put out on his Instagram account before the right-back’s final game.
Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have been a dynamic duo for the Anfield outfit over the past couple of seasons with the pair often being dubbed the best full-backs in the top flight.
Taking to his personal Instagram account, Robertson shared a heartfelt message for his departing teammate.

You have won it all and created amazing memories along the way.’
Due to these achievements, Robertson added a message for Liverpool fans, writing: ‘I hope all the hard work you have put into this club, the moments you have given us and the massive contribution you have made are recognised as they should be…’
The Scotland international then finished his message with a heartfelt sentence, stating: ‘Wingmen one last time.’

While Liverpool fans are not best pleased with Alexander-Arnold at the moment, it’s hard to deny that he’s had a stellar career representing the Anfield faithful.
However, judging by the comments from some former Liverpool players as well as the defender himself, they each want Alexander-Arnold to be celebrated on Sunday, rather than booed.
