Newcastle United's Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak
Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes admits the players are powerless to control Alexander Isak's future, with the Liverpool-linked striker now expected to try and force a move.
Isak hasn't travelled on the Magpies' tour of Singapore, with a thigh injury cited as the reason to keep him off the trip to the Far East.
However, it was widely reported on Thursday afternoon that the Sweden international has asked to leave the club he joined three years ago from Real Sociedad.
Liverpool are believed to have sounded out Newcastle's stance on a forward who scored 23 Premier League goals last term only to be told he was not for sale.

Isak's agitation to move, though, could bring about a renewed effort on Merseyside to sign the 25-year-old, something Brazil international Guimaraes admits the Magpies squad are unable to influence.
"I’m really close to him," Bruno told the Daily Mail.
"He’s a good guy.
The club has control of it.
I hope he’s going to be fit when we come back to Newcastle to prepare for the new season.
"They told us he was there in Newcastle because of his injury.
Of course he’s a top player for us and he’s going to be a miss on this trip.
