One graduate could very well end his career as the best player ever produced at Liverpool’s academy – Trent Alexander-Arnold.

As a local boy, Alexander-Arnold captained the various youth sides on his journey to the top and is now Liverpool’s vice-captain.

It was reported earlier this week that the Anfield club have opened up new contract talks with Trent Alexander-Arnold

“Some reports claim that Liverpool and Trent Alexander-Arnold are set for new contract talks”, Romano wrote.

“I am still working on that one, but for sure the feeling remains always the same: Trent loves Liverpool, Liverpool want Trent to stay.”

One would imagine that should Trent Alexander-Arnold spend the rest of career at Anfield, he could very well climb above Steven Gerrard as Liverpool’s best academy graduate in the modern era.
