Liverpool are likely to do some major work on their attack during the summer transfer window.
Despite having won the Premier League at a canter, the Reds are set to invest heavily as a reshaping gets underway.
Darwin Nunez is likely to leave, while Federico Chiesa and Luis Diaz have also been linked with exits.
On Monday, further news broke that Bayern Munich are in talks with Liverpool over Cody Gakpo.
And then there’s Diogo Jota, who has had a disappointing season overall for the Reds.
Having looked way off the pace after returning from injury in December, Jota ended the season with just nine goals.
This has led to suggestions that Jota could be sold and according to journalist Graeme Bailey, Liverpool are likely to be weighing up their options.

Jota’s underwhelming form has been part of the reason why Liverpool could do with signing a new central striker this summer.
The 28-year-old is still lethal on his day, but has appeared a shadow of himself in recent times.

And speaking exclusively to Rousing The Kop, Bailey says that although other players are ahead of him in the queue to leave, there is a chance Jota will be sold.
“I think it depends on which forward comes in and what offers are out there.
I don’t think it’s a definite that he leaves,” says the reporter.

“My personal hunch would be that they think there’s no harm in having him in the squad but if there’s a decent offer on the table then they’ll look at it.
“In terms of the forwards that are leaving, Darwin Nunez will be first out of the door, followed by Federico Chiesa and then it’s probably Jota.”
Bailey goes on to say that with former club Wolves on the lookout for a Matheus Cunha replacement, he could see a return to Molineux being appealing to Jota and to Wolves.
“I think there’s quite a few clubs where he’d fit in very well,” he says.
I think he’s a player who has that ability to have a new lease of life at the next club he goes to.”
When Liverpool signed Jota for £45m five years ago, it felt like a fairly big amount of faith to put into the Portugal international.
However, Jota has repaid his fee and more, scoring 65 times in 182 appearances and winning a glut of major trophies.

Should Liverpool choose to sell him this summer, though, it feels as though they may have to settle for a lower fee.
Now 28, the No.
20 is arguably at his peak, but injuries look to have cost him a fair amount over the past few years.
If an offer of £40m or more comes in for Jota this summer, Liverpool will have some serious thinking to do.
Anything less, and there’s no harm keeping him around for another year.
