Everton are paying around £225,000 a week of Jack Grealish’s wages during his loan spell from Manchester City.
Everton signed Grealish on a season-long loan deal last week despite interest from several rival clubs.

The England international, who joined Pep Guardiola’s side for £100million from Aston Villa in 2021, registered 17 goals and 23 assists in 157 appearances at the Etihad Stadium.
“It’s a big statement signing and it’s The Friedkin Group saying ‘Look, we’re going to back Moyes with a marquee signing’.
He only came on for about 20 minutes on Monday, but one thing I did notice was already that he won a free-kick and we’re going to be winning lots of free-kicks because I watched him in over 100 games and you win a lot of free-kicks on the left, so we’ve got to develop some techniques for those free-kicks because we’re going to be getting a lot of them going forward.
