West Ham United have been tipped to spiral out of control as the fanbase continues to revolt against the club’s hierarchy.
It has been a dreadful start to the season for the Hammers, who sit in the Premier League relegation zone with just three points from five games.
Graham Potter is under increasing sack pressure following the East London side’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, but supporters are also directing their anger towards the owners.
Next month, West Ham fans are planning a boycott of their home game against Brentford, in an attempt to force Karren Brady and David Sullivan to sell the club.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that things are likely to get even worse at the London Stadium.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that it is not just Potter’s fault that West Ham are struggling, as there is complete turmoil at the top of the club.
Sullivan and Brady have been tipped to eventually give in to the pressure and sell the East London side.

Wyness added that nobody is happy at West Ham, and things could quickly spiral out of control if no changes are made.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “I think it’s the whole club and there’s turmoil at the top from what I’m hearing.
“It’s not just Potter.
“They’re talking about boycotts again for the Brentford game, petitions, all sorts of things.
And that can often spiral out of control.”
Meanwhile, West Ham are unlikely to accelerate their pursuit of Coventry City manager Frank Lampard if Potter is sacked, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider exclusively revealed on 5 September that West Ham have sounded out Lampard as an option to replace their current boss.
However, the Hammers are unlikely to step up their interest in their former midfielder, given the fans’ likely reaction.
Instead, they are planning to assess other options, with the likes of Kieran McKenna and Nuno Espirito Santo on their list of potential targets.
