Thomas Frank’s arrival was greeted with a mixed reaction after the decision was made to remove Ange Postecoglou from the Tottenham dugout.

Despite doing such a good job with Brentford during his seven years at the Gtech Community Stadium, it was a cut-throat decision from Daniel Levy to sack Postecoglou after lifting the Europa League trophy.

Just five games into the new Premier League campaign, and supporters have already done a full U-turn on their new manager, with Spurs currently sitting third in the league standings.

Tottenham drew 2-2 with Brighton, coming back from two goals behind to capture a point away from home.

However, due to the opening half, some supporters raised some questions over his future already.

While supporters are still expecting major improvements across the pitch, especially with money splashed on the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons, the positive signs are there.

In fact, in Spurs’ first five games of the campaign under Frank, they have won 10 points from three wins and a draw, which is double what Postecoglou managed in his final 12 league games in charge [BBC Sport].

His team won just five points from 12 games, which had a huge impact as the Lilywhites finished 17th in the Premier League table, just one spot above the relegation zone.

Last season, Postecoglou was without victory against Wolves, losing the away game after drawing 2-2 in North London, and Jorgen Strand Larsen played a huge role in that for the Old Gold.

While Vitor Pereira is cautious about throwing Strand Larsen straight into the starting lineup, there is every chance that the striker could feature off the bench as Wolves manage his minutes.

The 25-year-old scored in both fixtures last season, one off the bench and the other as a starter, and he has proven time and time again that he can make a huge impact as a substitute.

That is something that Frank needs to keep in mind if Spurs are to continue their terrific form from the start of the campaign, but that is much easier said than done in the Premier League.
