Tottenham were rocked by the news that sporting director Daniel Levy was leaving the club after over 20 years in North London, earlier in September.
Levy was a controversial figure at Tottenham, and the reaction to his exit from the club was considerably mixed.
Thomas Frank was brought to Tottenham this summer by Levy, and the new boss has got his side off to a great start in the Premier League.
Tottenham drew 2-2 with Brighton on Saturday, thanks to a late own goal from Jan Paul van Hecke, and will prepare to face Wolves in the league next Saturday evening.
New Tottenham signing Xavi Simons was the last marquee deal that Levy pulled off at the club, and the attacking midfielder will want to find some form against the league’s bottom club on Saturday.

Frank has spoken in his pre-match press conference ahead of Tottenham’s meeting with Wolves, and mentioned Levy’s exit.

Tottenham have been embroiled in takeover talk in recent weeks following Levy’s departure but at present, it appears the Lewis family are intent on retaining their ownership of the club.
