With that in mind, the ECHO takes a look at the three potentially most important fixtures Liverpool have left to play this season.

Manchester United (A) - April 7

One of the toughest matches on paper for Liverpool every season is going away to Old Trafford.

will be determined to get a better result in the league but will be mindful of the challenge that awaits them having already seen what the Red Devils are capable of against them on their home turf.

Everton (A) - April 24

Another one of the standout fixtures for Liverpool is the Merseyside derby against Everton, particularly away at Goodison Park.

The Reds have a mixed record at the home of the Blues in recent years, having won just one of their last six away visits.

This fixture has now been rearranged for a Wednesday night where Liverpool will have to go away to West Ham in a Saturday early kick-off just three days later.

Tottenham Hotspur have proven to be tough opponents home or away in recent years, and it will be no different this time around.

The previous meeting had the controversy around Luis Diaz's disallowed goal, which will no doubt be a talking point in the days and hours leading up to the fixture.
