Former Everton and Burnley manager Sean Dyche has been sounded out by many as a leading candidate to take on the role if Martin is sacked.

Currently lying 11th in the Scottish Premiership table, it’s imperative that Rangers make a big move in the manager market, and Dyche could provide that cultural reset.

Rohl is currently out of employment following his departure from the Yorkshire club, and Rangers could swoop to sign the German early in the season.

The 36-year-old caught the eye with his attractive brand of football at Wednesday and would bring back some enjoyment in the way Rangers play if he were to get the job.

Steven Gerrard was reportedly favoured by 49ers Enterprises following their takeover of Rangers in the early summer.

Due to contractual reasons, the former Liverpool man couldn’t make a return to Rangers, where he won the Scottish Premiership in 2021.
