Preston North End have opened up a general ticket sale for Liverpool’s friendly against the Championship opposition.
It comes after Liverpool’s first full squad reported back to pre-season training on Tuesday at the AXA Training Centre.
Speculation grew all week over whether the fixture would even take place, with reports emerging that players and staff were still deciding if they were in the right frame of mind to take the field.
ITV have already locked in live, free-to-air coverage for the 3pm BST kick-off, a choice made before the tragedy.
There has been reports that the Reds players will convene and decide whether to proceed with the friendly.
Amid that uncertainty, Preston North End have now issued a notice that tickets for the Preston vs Liverpool match are on general sale.
With hospitality packages sold out, remaining tickets are available online, by phone, or in person at Deepdale’s ticket office – though supporters are warned there will be no sales on matchday itself.
Adult tickets are priced at £25, with concessions for seniors, under-23s, and younger fans, ensuring families can attend.
By putting tickets on sale, Preston have signalled confidence that the fixture will proceed as planned.
However, official communication will likely still arrive in due course.
