Bayern Munich convincingly beat Chelsea on Wednesday evening, and Harry Kane was at the centre of their destruction.
Kane smashed a David Beckham record in the Champions League with his brace, but he may look to return to the Premier League to smash a particularly impressive record.
Bayern Munich are braced for an early Harry Kane transfer exit despite his contract not expiring for another two years.
This has put Premier League clubs on high alert as his talent is enough to swing a title race if he joined the right club.
Kane has been linked with a Tottenham return many times, but if he wants to smash Alan Shearer‘s record, he might need to think carefully about which English team he wants to join.

The former Tottenham striker moved to Bayern Munich in 2023 and has since scored 95 goals.
Had he stayed in England, he might have already become the all-time Premier League top scorer.
Tim Sherwood believes this is the reason why Kane will return to the Premier League before he retires.
Sherwood said on Sky Sports: “Harry will come back to the Premier League again.
I think if Harry does come back to the Premier League and does break Alan’s record then I think there’s no doubt that Jamie Carragher’s spot on to say he [Kane] is the best English striker we’ve ever seen.”
Kane is just 47 goals behind Shearer, which, given the 32-year-old’s prolificacy, is not all that much.
Bayern Munich‘s contract with the English forward expires in 2027 which means he could move back to the Premier League for free in less than two years but he would be 34 at that point.
If he wants to give himself the best chance of beating Shearer, it would be wise to return to England as soon as possible before his body writes the end of the story for him.
