Liverpool’s youngsters haven’t had much of a look-in when it comes to game time this season.

Even though Elliott and Quansah may believe they deserved more time on the pitch, others, such as Tyler Morton, would have likely done anything to just get into the first team.

Hence why it’s not a surprise to see the youngster speaking out about what he’s noticed from the Dutchman this season.

In a lengthy interview with the Daily Mail, Morton gave his thoughts on Slot and how he’s done with the Anfield outfit this season.

“He’s a very good manager with his tactical side of the game, the best I’ve probably seen,” he said.

“To be honest, tactics-wise, he’s so on it and it’s unbelievable.

“He’s asked me just to be myself and to play the way he likes to play with his teams, and I think I’ve done that when I’ve played, so it’s been a good season.”

During the 2023-24 season, Morton was one of Liam Rosenior’s most important players at Hull City.

The youngster more than managed to handle himself with multi-million bids even coming in for Morton in the January transfer window following his impressive performances the season before.

Indeed, the form of Ryan Gravenberch surpassed everyone’s expectations, and Wataru Endo turned out to be the calm among the chaos in the final few minutes of the games that were played.

So, with this in mind and Liverpool’s defensive midfielders not looking likely to leave any time soon, Morton should be allowed to go out on loan once again to prove his worth.
