Heung-Min Son could be set to make a shock move away from Tottenham this summer.
The 33-year-old has been at Spurs since his switch from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, and captained the club to Europa League glory just a couple of months ago.
However, last season the winger started just 24 of a possible 38 games in the Premier League, and there are rumours that his time at the North London club could be coming to an end.
Los Angeles FC are reportedly in talks to sign Son, and believe that they can get a deal over the line before the window shuts.
However, Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that a side from the Saudi Pro League could come in and hijack the Korean’s move to America.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that a Saudi club could still come in and land a “knockout blow”, convincing Son to make the switch to the Middle East.
The Saudi Pro League has become a popular destination for players coming towards the end of their careers, due to the high wages on offer.
Wyness added that Spurs may let Son decide where he wants to go, even if Saudi Arabia would be more financially beneficial for the North London club.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “I think Spurs would still like to see something from him in terms of a fee.
It’s still early in the Saudi market.
“He is the sort of high-profile player the Saudi Pro League still wants in terms of reaching that particular market in Asia, which is a key market for them in terms of growth and credibility.
Spurs would probably encourage the Saudi move for obvious reasons.
We’ve watched him, he’s been a fabulous goalscorer, a really nice guy and whatever he decides to do, I think Spurs will say, ‘okay, look, you’ve been a great servant, you’ll go with our best wishes’.
But as I say, I’ve got the sneaking suspicion that there could be a Saudi move.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham have reportedly set their sights on a deal to sign Jack Grealish after missing out on Gibbs-White.
That is according to their former scout Mick Brown, who claims that the 29-year-old has moved up the list of targets for Frank.
Spurs are aiming to add a new attacking midfield option to their squad, but the England international’s ability to play out wide is seen as a valuable asset.
This comes after Football Insider revealed on 22 May that Grealish does not expect to remain at City and feels he has been “frozen out” by Guardiola.
