Tottenham could spend more on players in future transfer windows now that Daniel Levy has left the North London club.
The major news that Levy parted company with Spurs arrived on Thursday, 4 September, while Thomas Frank’s men currently sit fourth in the Premier League after playing three games.
Tottenham are vying to perform well in both the top flight and the Champions League this season, while a London Derby clash with West Ham United awaits Frank’s side after the international break.
Meanwhile, Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Bournemouth on Saturday, 30 August, and must bounce back from that loss.

Football Insider have exclusively revealed that two parties are in talks with Tottenham over a takeover deal after Levy’s shock exit.
Meanwhile, writing on Sky Sports‘ live Q&A on Friday, 5 September, Kaveh Solhekol said: “If Tottenham are serious about winning the title again for the first time in 64 years, then it is certainly true that they will need to be more decisive when it comes to signings.
“They will also have to increase their wages-to-turnover ratio if they want to compete consistently at the highest levels.”

Football Insider verdict
Frank has enjoyed a largely strong start with Tottenham, but the landscape at the North London club has already significantly altered, just four competitive games into his tenure, with Levy ending his 24-year spell as chairman.

Now that there is a significant possibility that majority owner Joe Lewis could facilitate a takeover for Spurs, Frank needs to enjoy stability.
The former Brentford boss will be pleased if Levy’s exit means that he can spend more money on both transfer fees and wages as he vies to achieve success.
However, if a potential takeover process becomes drawn out or complex, Frank could find himself in a more difficult position than the one he currently occupies.
Meanwhile, the new Tottenham boss must ensure that his side return to form when they face West Ham on 13 September, before hosting Villarreal in their opening Champions League encounter.
