Tottenham have maintained just one clean sheet in their last 21 London derbies ahead of their clash with West Ham United on Saturday.

Thomas Frank has enjoyed a strong start to life in the dugout, although Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Bournemouth in their last game before the international break.

Before their defeat to the Dorset outfit, Tottenham enjoyed consecutive wins over Burnley and Manchester City.

Contrastingly, West Ham beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 in their last match, bouncing back from previous defeats against Chelsea and Sunderland.

Meanwhile, Spurs have not performed well on the field against their cross-city rivals, losing 10 of their last 16 London derbies.

Furthermore, Tottenham’s only clean sheet in their last 21 derby matches came when they beat Brentford 2-0 in February 2025.

Tottenham’s poor defensive record in London derbies has highlighted a particular area of focus for Frank ahead of his side’s clash with rivals West Ham.

Meanwhile, the Hammers’ 3-0 victory at Forest on 31 August doesn’t paint the full picture, as Potter has still managed just six wins in 23 matches in charge of the East Londoners.

Furthermore, Tottenham made a strong account of themselves against both Burnley and Manchester City before their defeat against Bournemouth last month.

Frank’s men will view their trip to the London Stadium as a key opportunity to avoid consecutive defeats and get back to winning ways before their Champions League campaign gets underway against Villarreal on 16 September.

After travelling to West Ham, Spurs’ next two Premier League fixtures see them face Brighton and Wolves, either side of their Carabao Cup clash with Doncaster.

Meanwhile, Spurs have been backed to sign Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid in a Tottenham News exclusive.
