Tottenham are set to allow young striker Dane Scarlett to leave North London on loan before the transfer window closes.
Thomas Frank enjoyed a successful start to the Premier League campaign, as Spurs beat Burnley 3-0 on Saturday, 16 August.
Frank’s men successfully bounced back from their UEFA Super Cup defeat to PSG, but will face a tougher test when they travel to Manchester City on Saturday, 23 August.
Meanwhile, the new Spurs boss has been busy in the transfer market, as Tottenham close in on Eberechi Eze.

Former Spurs scout Mick Brown exclusively informed Football Insider that Manor Solomon is certain to leave Tottenham, having spent last season on loan with Leeds United in the Championship.
Meanwhile, according to The Athletic on Tuesday, 19 August, Scarlett appears likely to leave the North London outfit on loan.
The report adds that the young striker was granted permission to miss out on Tottenham’s pre-season tour of Asia to explore his potential loan destinations.

Football Insider verdict
After returning to Tottenham following his loan spell with Oxford last January, Scarlett played his part in the North Londoners’ triumphant Europa League campaign by scoring in the league phase win over Swedish club Elfsborg.

However, the 21-year-old has not proven himself as prolific in his previous loan spells and failed to score in 12 Championship appearances for Ipswich in the 2023/24 season.
The four goals he scored for Oxford last season marked his best return since he scored six while on loan with Portsmouth during the 2022/23 campaign.
Therefore, with another temporary move away from Tottenham seemingly edging closer, Scarlett must prove his worth at his next club.
If the England Under-20 international can’t improve on the form he displayed at Oxford this season, then Spurs could consider his permanent exit next summer.
Meanwhile, football commentator Ian Darke has weighed in on Richarlison’s return to form in a Tottenham News exclusive.
