Liverpool’s coaching ranks have been rocked by a trio of departures this summer as Arne Slot continues to reshape his backroom team.
Former assistant coach John Heitinga has left Merseyside to take the head coach role at Ajax after just one season alongside Slot
In the goalkeeping department, Brazilian legend Claudio Taffarel has formally called time on an association with Liverpool after four years refining the Reds’ shot-stopping philosophy, while
German coach Fabian Otte has also departed following a single campaign as head of first-team goalkeeper coaching
But it seems we will see Otte again soon, as after just one year at the club, he’s set join another Premier League side in Tottenham, with the BBC’s Sami Mokbel reporting:
“Tottenham are set to appoint former Liverpool goalkeeper coach Fabian Otte onto Thomas Frank’s new-look backroom team.”
