It has been widely reported that Liverpool have now agreed a deal with Newcastle to sign Alexander Isak and end the saga of the summer.
This outcome always felt likely, but a Premier League record deal for £130million remains a blockbuster deal.
The Athletic reports that everything is agreed and Isak will undergo a medical today before signing a six-year contract with Liverpool.
The change of stance comes after Newcastle landed Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart, while they continue to chase another striker - either Brentford's Yoane Wissa, or Wolves' Jorgen Strand Larsen.
