Fabrizio Romano has reported that Kostas Tsimikas, the Greek left-back, is set to leave Liverpool after five years at the club. This development follows his exclusion from Liverpool’s Premier League squad against Crystal Palace, which signaled uncertainty about his future at Anfield. Romano highlighted that Tsimikas is prepared to embark on a new chapter and has already attracted interest, notably from Nottingham Forest earlier in the transfer window.
Since joining Liverpool in 2020 from Olympiakos, Tsimikas has primarily been a backup to Andy Robertson, averaging about seven Premier League starts per season. The arrival of Milos Kerkez in June further limited his opportunities, making his departure increasingly likely.

This situation became more evident after Tsimikas was left out of the squad for the Community Shield match and other fixtures, hinting that Liverpool are willing to facilitate his exit within the remaining weeks of the summer 2025 transfer window.
The Greek defender’s exit marks a potential reshuffle in Liverpool's defensive options, as the club integrates new signings and looks to optimize the squad under its current management.
