12:59KEY EVENTFULL STORY: Isak tells Newcastle he wants to explore transfer
Alexander Isak has told Newcastle that he wants to explore a move away in a bombshell development.
Isak, 25, has put Liverpool on red alert after they made an approach to sign him last week.
The Premier League champions were told by Newcastle that the striker wasn't for sale and Liverpool turned their focus to fellow striker Hugo Ekitike.
Alexander Isak has told Newcastle United he wants to leave.
Usually, they avoid signing players who are over the age of 25, believing younger players have a higher ceiling and will retain their value better.
However, Gyokeres isn’t the first player for which Arsenal have broken that rule this summer, with the arrivals of Arrizabalaga and Norgaard also contradicting their philosophy.

Lincoln City have rejected bids for Ethan Erhahon.
The Imps midfielder, 24, is the subject of strong transfer interest from this summer after catching the eye for Michael Skubala's side.
