Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola indicated Joao Cancelo could yet extend his stay at Barcelona following a successful loan, suggesting director of football Txiki Begiristain will be involved in any developments.

"Whatever will be the best for everyone.
If an agreement is not reached, he will have to return but if the player wants to stay [with Barcelona], he will do it again."
