Transfer news LIVE!
The summer window remains alive despite a brief hiatus between registration windows ahead of the start of the Club World Cup.
Martin Zubimendi is finally set to join in a deal worth around £59m, almost a year after talks first began for a player Mikel Arteta has long deemed a dream signing.
The Gunners hope to soon add Benjamin Sesko to their ranks for around £60m, but Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen will cost more with Manchester United sniffing around the pair.
Chelsea are currently focusing on their first Club World Cup game, against LAFC on Sunday, but are expected to soon revive interest in Mike Maignan and Jamie Gittens after failed attempts to snap them up before the first summer deadline.
Manchester City got deals for Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders over the line.

2 hours agoNewcastle yet to progress on Trafford talks
Newcastle United have not come close to Burnley’s asking price for goalkeeper James Trafford.
The Magpies have gone back in for the England goalkeeper as they look to provide Nick Pope with competition ahead of the new season.
Trafford is Eddie Howe’s preferred target between the sticks, with the former Manchester City shot-stopper playing in all but one of the Clarets’ Championship games last season, as Scott Parker guided them back into the top flight at the first time of asking.
The Daily Mail report that Burnley have slapped a £40million price tag on Trafford’s head, with the 22-year-old now a year-long target for Howe after a move did not materialise last summer.
Trafford is believed to be keen on a switch to Tyneside.

Arsenal have reignited their interest in Viktor Gyokeres.
The Gunners are desperate to sign a new striker this summer and appeared to have decided on Benjamin Sesko, after initial links with Sporting striker Gyokeres.
But CNN Portugal and Record report today that Arsenal’s hierarchy met with Gyokeres’ representative, Hasan Cetinkaya, on Wednesday and an official offer from the Gunners is now expected.
The report adds that Gyokeres has told his agent that he wants to join Arsenal ahead of Manchester United, Chelsea or Juventus.
Gyokeres is said to be ready to go on strike to force a Sporting exit this summer, prompting a remarkable statement from the club president insisting the player will not leave on the cheap.
