Manchester United are closing in on their second addition, while Liverpool arguably boast the most impressive market movement so far and don't plan to stop.

There could also be a transfer battle brewing between Arsenal and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, with one of the Premier League's most exciting players at stake.

Other clubs are moving more discreetly behind the scenes ahead of an expected wave of activity on the other side of July 1, the start of the new PSR window.

Bryan Mbeumo medical

Manchester United are on the brink of sealing a deal for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.

According to talkSPORT, who broke the news about United's second bid worth £60m, Mbeumo is expected to undergo his medical next week.

That would likely see the 25-year-old complete his switch at the start of July.

At this stage, it would be a shock if Mbeumo didn't join Matheus Cunha through the door before pre-season begins on July 7.
