Aaron Pressley is poised to join Walsall after being given the green light to leave Stevenage permanently.

The former Brentford striker, 23, joined Boro in the summer of 2023 but spent the second half of last season out on loan at Barrow.

And Pressley is now set for a permanent return to League Two with Walsall, who are close to finalising a swoop for the frontman as they refresh their forward options.
