Liverpool have agreed a British record deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz - which will exceed £110m.

The Athletic Bilbao winger looks set to depart this summer and has drawn interest from Bayern Munich and Arsenal in addition to the Catalan club.

Barca are said to have offered a salary in the region €7m-8m (£6m-7m) but have not yet agreed a deal with their La Liga rivals.



Williams has a release clause in the region of £50m but the Spanish champions have not agreed a financial package with Bilbao.

Newcastle United could be about to offer Marcus Rashford a route out of Old Trafford.

Liverpool are reluctant to sell Quansah this summer but it is thought that a bid of around 40m (£34m) could be enough to convince them to cash-in.

And should they do that, Liverpool chiefs have already picked out his ideal replacement.

It was suggested in Germany that Wirtz may have undergone the first part of his Liverpool medical on Thursday, with final details due to be thrashed out on Friday.
