Barcelona are advancing in talks to sign Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford, reports The Athletic.

The Spanish side have made an offer to sign the England international on loan with an option to make the move permanent in 12 months’ time.

Manchester United have reportedly performed a U-turn on their plans for Sekou Kone.

The midfielder was expected to spend next season out on at Lausanne, but that is no longer the case.

According to Mail Sport, Kone has impressed Ruben Amorim and his staff to such an extent in training that he is now expected to remain with the Red Devils.

Arsenal may have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Viktor Gyokeres.

Sporting are planning to replace the Swedish international with Almeria star Luis Suarez, and they risk missing out on the striker if they do not act quickly.

Almeria president Joao Goncalves has now threatened to sell Suarez to another club, which could set off alarm bells at Sporting – who may need to accelerate talks with Gyokeres to ensure they do not risk missing out on one of their key targets.

Goncalves told CNN Portugal: “Luis has had his best season, he's in the best moment of his career.

AS Roma have reached an agreement to sign Evan Ferguson from Brighton on loan, reports Sky Sports Italy.

Manchester United have booked Bryan Mbeumo’s medical to take place this weekend, reports The Athletic.

After weeks of talks, the Red Devils have now reached an agreement worth up to £71million for the winger, and they will push for the Cameroon international to put pen to paper with the club as soon as possible.

United saw two bids rejected for Mbeumo previously but remained locked in talks over a deal, with the 25-year-old’s preference to head to Old Trafford over Newcastle and Spurs helping talks progress.
