It has been an eventful summer so far for many of the Premier League's richest clubs.

Liverpool are on a transfer rampage in the wake of their title win, with Florian Wirtz set to be announced as their second major signing at any moment, and other ambitious targets in the pipeline.

Arsenal are willing to spend big to revitalise their attack, and Manchester United already have, bringing in Matheus Cunha with Bryan Mbeumo lined up to follow.

Throw a trigger-happy Chelsea into the mix, a Tottenham team looking to back new manager Thomas Frank, and a Manchester City side reeling from losing their Premier League crown, and it may just be the perfect storm for dramatic twists and turns right up to the deadline.

Liverpool prepare massive bid for Marc Guehi

Liverpool are expected to make a 'significant' bid for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi, according to The Telegraph.

Guehi only has one year left on his contract and he has no plans to sign an extension.

With Liverpool on the verge of selling Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen, a vacancy is about to open up at centre-back in the Liverpool squad - albeit as third choice.

Tottenham saw a £70million package turned down by Palace in January, but Guehi's value may continue to fall as his contract's expiration date edges closer.

Man Utd block Antony exit route

Manchester United will not allow Antony to leave on loan again this summer, according to Ben Jacobs.

The Brazilian rekindled his career during a temporary spell at Real Betis last term, and the La Liga side want to retain him for 2025/26.

But his hefty United wages mean that a loan may be the most realistic way of Betis being able to bring him back.

It is said that both Antony and United want a permanent transfer and Betis will not be given favourable treatment by allowing them to extend their loan.
