Ruben Amorim wouldn't be drawn on Alejandro Garnacho after leaving him out of Manchester United's squad to face Aston Villa yesterday.

Garnacho, 20, was unhappy after being left out of United's starting line-up for the Europa League final and Amorim has reportedly told him to find a new club.

But speaking to reporters after the 2-0 win, the Red Devils boss said: "Garnacho is one more player of Manchester United, so I don't know what is going to happen in the future, but he's a normal player."

Argentina international Garnacho has travelled as part of United's 32-man squad for two friendlies in Asia this week.

Bayern Munich are expected to confirm that they've signed Jonathan Tah on a free transfer this week.

Tah, 29, is leading the exodus out of Bayer Leverkusen, with Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong set to follow him.

Bayern's long pursuit of the German defender looks to finally come to a successful conclusion, fending off Barcelona for his signature.

It means that Erik ten Hag won't get the chance to manage Tah, with the former Manchester United boss set to replace Xabi Alonso.

Hello and welcome to Monday's live transfer blog.

The window is less than a week away and clubs are ramping up their efforts, especially after the final day of the Premier League season.

Let's jump in, shall we?

KEY EVENTGyokeres responds to Arsenal links

Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres says that he doesn't know what the future holds after firing Sporting Lisbon to the double.

Gyokeres' 101st-minute penalty sent the Taca de Portugal final to extra-time as Sporting ran out 3-1 winners against rivals Benfica, who they pipped to the Primeira Liga title last week.

The Swedish striker has been heavily linked with a £60million move to Arsenal and he was asked about the speculation post-match.

"I don't know anything, I tried to focus on the last few games, if something is true we'll see," Gyokeres admitted.

Manchester United have reached a full agreement over the signing of Wolves forward Matheus Cunha.

Wolves will receive his £62.5million release clause in installments, according to Italian media.

Cunha, 25, will sign a contract until 2030 plus the option of a one-year extension.

The Brazilian appeared to wave goodbye to Wolves supporters following yesterday's 1-1 draw at home to Brentford.

Arne Slot has hinted Liverpool are close to completing the signings of Florian Wirtz and Bayer Leverkusen team-mate Jeremie Frimpong in a £100million-plus double deal.

The Reds have beaten Bayern Munich in the race to sign German forward Wirtz while they've triggered Dutch right-back Frimpong's release clause.

Slot revealed to Sky Sports after lifting the Premier League trophy yesterday: "We know, the club, Richard [Hughes], the ownership, we are all aligned on what we are trying to achieve.
