It remains to be seen whether Liverpool break the transfer record once again to land Alexander Isak, after Newcastle signed Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart.

Arsenal look set to get another deal over the line with Piero Hincapie set to become the Gunners' eighth signing of the summer.

The Chelsea star was set to join Bayern Munich before the Blues cancelled the move and the striker is not happy.

Exits appear on the agenda for Manchester United however with Rasmus Hojlund seemingly set for a move to Napoli on loan.

Nicolas Jackson's advisor, Diomansy Kamara, has sent a defiant message after Chelsea put an end to hopes of the forward joining Bayern Munich on loan.

The Senegal striker travelled to Munich on Saturday to complete a deal but saw his permission to conduct a medical revoked before the end of the day.

It feels a situation that could have more twists and turns with Jackson said to be furious and the forward's camp working to keep a deal alive.

Manchester United are making a shock £40million bid for Aston Villa keeper Emi Martinez.

The Reds rejected the chance to sign the Argentine international earlier in the summer when it was deemed that a deal would be too expensive when his £200,000-a-week wages were thrown into the mix.

United set their sights on Royal Antwerp’s highly-coveted young stopper Senne Lammens, but now look ready to sanction a costly short-term solution with Martinez instead.
