Liam Delap is expected to join Chelsea over Manchester United this summer, according to TBR Football.

The Blues are said to be confident of winning the race to land the striker, who has already spoken to several Premier League clubs.

Delap reportedly whittled down his options to just United and Chelsea, though Everton also gave him food for thought.

Some in his circle favoured a move to Old Trafford but he now appears likely to join the Stamford Bridge club.
