There's less than 10 days to go before the new Premier League season kicks off and clubs are ramping up their transfer business.

Sagas are ongoing up and down the league, with Alexander Isak's undoubtedly the biggest and one which is causing a domino effect among their rivals.

Liverpool failed in their £120million bid for the striker, who's training separately from his Newcastle team-mates.



Although the Magpies are reluctant to sell him, they're braced for his departure and want Benjamin Sesko to replace him.

A bid of £73.8million was placed on Monday before Manchester United quickly matched that amount with an offer of their own - but there's a catch.

Newcastle's proposal contains more money up front which is favourable for RB Leipzig, although in private, the Red Devils believe that they're Sesko's preferred destination.

One club who don't need to sign a striker are Arsenal, whose focus is now on Eberechi Eze after they finally got Viktor Gyokeres over the line.

The Gunners also want to sanction a number of sales, just like Chelsea, who are set to recoup £65m by offloading three players.

Ruben Amorim's side are yet to reach an agreement with Leipzig but are now in pole position for the Slovenia international.

Darwin Nunez is closing in on a move to Al-Hilal after the Saudi Arabian giants agreed a deal with Liverpool.

A report from Italy claims that that Nunez, 26, is now in talks with Al-Hilal over personal terms.

The Uruguayan's sale would make room in Liverpool's squad and budget for No.1 target Alexander Isak.

Manchester United privately believe that Benjamin Sesko wants to join them instead of Newcastle.

Sesko, 22, is at the centre of a tug-of-war between the two Premier League clubs, who've both held positive talks with RB Leipzig.

Newcastle's second bid and the Red Devils' first are in the same region but differ in terms of structure.

Even though Leipzig would earn more up front by selling to Newcastle, Ruben Amorim's side believe that the Slovenian prefers them.
