Trent Alexander-Arnold has offered a glimpse into his emotional Liverpool departure, revealing a private message from the club’s owners that hinted his journey with the Reds may not be over forever.
The 26-year-old right-back, now officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player, shared how Liverpool’s owners made it clear the door remains open for a return.
Despite limited financial return on the deal, Liverpool’s leadership expressed gratitude and support.

Alexander-Arnold, in a press conference at Madrid, described a heartfelt exchange with Fenway Sports Group in the final days of his Liverpool career.
“They thanked me for everything I gave, wished me well on my future journey and said they would have me back at the club at any point,” Trent said.
“To have those words was amazing.”
The full-back, who made his senior debut in 2016, leaves Anfield with every major club honour and deep ties to his boyhood club.
