Trent Alexander-Arnold will bid farewell to Liverpool on Sunday and he has sent a message to Liverpool fans ahead of doing so.
It is not clear whether the right-back will feature against Crystal Palace at Anfield after he was booed upon entering the field against Arsenal earlier this month.
He was an unused substitute against Brighton in midweek, and Arne Slot neglected to say whether he planned to use the 26-year-old against Palace, but unsurprisingly did say he deserved to be a part of the celebrations.
Alexander-Arnold took to social media platform X on the eve of the game against Palace, with a simple message, which said: "20 years.
Alexander-Arnold joined Liverpool as a young boy and went on to make over 350 appearances for the first team, but he has riled supporters by choosing to leave the club on a free transfer.
His move to Real Madrid is yet to be formally announced but there is no doubt that he will be a Madrid player next season, where he will play under former Liverpool star Xabi Alonso.
