Trent Alexander-Arnold has kicked off his stint with Real Madrid after being presented by the club on June 13, yet sentiments about the ex-Liverpool full-back are still potent on Merseyside.

The defender sealed his switch from Liverpool to join the Los Blancos contingent for the Club World Cup in the United States.

One video shared by the defender showcased his journey to Madrid.

At his inaugural press conference as a player for Madrid, he expressed: "I want to show Real Madrid fans how I play.

I do realise I'm signing for Real Madrid, the demands are high, but I'm going to give my all to the team and Real Madrid fans.

"I want to show those fans how I play

I want to win many titles, I want to be a winner here and enjoy playing alongside the best

His girlfriend Estelle Behnke posted a photo with the caption "so proud" as she was pictured walking arm-in-arm with Alexander-Arnold, who donned the full Madrid strip.

During his press briefing following the reveal, where he conversed in English, Alexander-Arnold mentioned that he had been picking up Spanish for "a few months"
